Our Research
Nature has evolved enzymes with unique catalytic power. We are aiming to learn the catalysis and chemistry of enzymes from nature and apply them in the benefit of mankind. Our focus is on laboratory evolution of enzymes for green synthesis of asymmetric molecules of biological and pharmaceutical significance.
Our group is working on Biocatalysis, an interdisciplinary science where Green Chemistry, Asymmetric Synthesis, Enzyme Catalysis, and Molecular Biology meet.
